Our Programs

CCAF's Project Positive offers community support through two key programs. Project Positive is committed to promoting HIV prevention, sexual health awareness, and community safety.
Project Positive is committed to providing scholarships and educational opportunities for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

Scholarships

CCAF's Helen Veress-Mitchell Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to HIV-positive individuals pursuing higher education, including two-year, four-year, or graduate degrees, as well as programs at technological and trade schools. These scholarships are specifically available to students with connections to Northern California.

HIV/AIDS awareness and support. Project Positive is dedicated to advocacy, education, and ending stigma.

Education & Prevention

CCAF's Project Positive has committed itself to education, prevention, and raising awareness. Key to the effort has been the installation of dozens of dispensers providing free condoms at places where young people gather, whether it be on college campuses or in drinking and eating establishments.
