Welcome to
Project Positive
CCAF’s Project Positive, formerly known as the Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF), is a non-profit organization established in 1995 to support individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in the Sacramento, California region.

Our Mission
It is our mission to support individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and to prevent new infections. Project Positive runs two key programs: the Helen Veress-Mitchell Scholarship Fund, helping students living with HIV, and the Prevention and Education Program, which focuses on HIV prevention through education and outreach.

" The ripple effect of compassion and service is at the heart of what makes Project Positive's scholarship program so rewarding. Each year, our students step into the world, embodying our mission in the most genuine and impactful ways. Their actions and achievements inspire a vision of a world united by kindness and service—a dream that, if embraced universally, could create a truly beautiful reality. "
